About MatchMaker Tennis
MatchMaker Tennis offers both social and competitive tennis in casual format. Open to everyone, our emphasis is on meeting others within our community interested in tennis, then getting together and playing in a friendly setting..
MatchMaker Tennis provides many different tennis formats to meet the various needs of our members. We offer men’s & women’s team tennis, men’s and women’s doubles, men’s and women’s singles and mixed doubles leagues. If you have never played “organized” tennis, our formats are designed to get you into the swing quickly and easily.
Play Year Round…
We play tennis 12 months a year. With the exception of holidays, we are playing somewhere almost every day of the year. Certainly you’re not expected to play that much, but it’s good know, when you get the urge, we’ll be playing.
We offer weekday and weekend tennis as well as non tennis events at local parks, established tennis clubs and resort areas. We also offer day and weekend trips to attend tennis camps, clinics, pro instruction seminars and just to play tennis and have fun. We top it all off with cookouts, dinners, parties, festivals, comedy club nights and other get-togethers.
Something for Everyone…
Whatever you’re looking for in tennis, we will try to accommodate you. We offer many formats of team, doubles and singles play.
We often offer free lessons for beginners and low cost lessons for more advance players. We team up with other local tennis clubs and groups so our members have exposure to all aspects of the game.
Regardless of your current skill level we can match you with others of similar abilities. Then we work with you to improve your game and make your tennis experience more enjoyable.
If you’re an intermediate or advanced player and are looking for fitness and drill clinics, you have come to the right place. We work with local teaching pro’s who can put you through the paces to quickly improve your game and your health.
MatchMaker Tennis is a membership based organization. Our members pay just $18 per month for team leagues (singles leagues only pay $15 per month).
Your monthly dues pays for your membership, not your activities. Teams, leagues and ladders for members are FREE! Therefore, you can play as much or as little as you want at no extra charge. Need to quit? Just send us an e-mail stating you would like to cancel. It is as easy as that.
The only activities not covered under your monthly dues are events held for our members by outside organizations such as private racquet club clinics, winter indoors team tennis, parties, tournaments, etc.
