We love both ideas of this form of tennis. It’s a great way to meet new players and have fun.

A tennis LEAGUE, is a group of players that have decided to play a specific type of tennis – singles, doubles, mixed doubles or 3 on 3 team tennis. Sometimes, the league has a fixed day and time and location.

MatchMaker Tennis has fixed leagues — you have a teammate assigned to play with you, on a specific day, at a specific time and on a specific court.

Our singles leagues are a “flexi-league” where each week, MatchMaker Tennis tells you WHO you are playing. You and your opponent have a week to set up your match (date, time and place). Play your match and enter your scores. At the end of the season, we have a playoff.

Tennis LADDERS are different. A bunch of players are grouped into a ladder. Each person is like a rung on that ladder. As you win more tennis matches, you move up the rungs of the ladder. You can play as many or as few times as you want. The less you play, the lower rung on the ladder you will be listed.

Both are fun ways to meet players. And both ways give you options that may fit your current work schedule.

Do you want to play with us? Just let us know which Charlotte League you are interested in playing in.
